A leading law firm is seeking a Tax, Trusts & Estates Paralegal for its Century City office. This role supports attorneys with estate planning, trust and estate administration, and related tax and transactional matters, and calls for someone who can manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment while communicating clearly with attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities include post-death trust administration (notices, assessor forms, subtrust documents, asset allocation and transfer documents), trust funding and asset transfers involving real property, business interests, and financial accounts, and preparing deeds and other real estate transfer documents. The paralegal will also review trust and probate accountings, prepare federal estate and gift tax returns (Forms 706 and 709), handle Heggstad Petitions and other trust petitions and probates from start to finish, file California Form BOE-100-B for legal entities, draft estate planning documents (wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney), maintain client and matter files, and conduct legal and factual research.

Candidates should have a minimum of five years of experience as a Tax, Trusts & Estates Paralegal at a law firm, a four-year college degree or equivalent, and an ABA-approved paralegal certificate. This is a non-exempt position with a salary range of $120,000–$150,000 base.
