A leading national law firm is seeking a Junior or Mid-Level Associate for its Patent Litigation Team, with openings in its Houston, Dallas, Austin, Richmond, Raleigh, Washington D.C., Jacksonville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Charlotte, and New York offices.

The role sits within a nationally recognized IP practice that handles patent litigation on both sides of the docket — offensive and defensive matters between competitors, as well as defense against suits brought by non-practicing entities. Many attorneys on the team hold advanced degrees in engineering or the sciences, allowing them to quickly get up to speed on clients’ technology. The firm’s client base spans telecommunications, software and hardware, financial services, and manufacturing.

Candidates should have 2–7 years of patent litigation experience and a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, along with excellent academic credentials. Salary range: $235,000–$410,000, depending on experience and location.
